It’s Halloween!
Traditionally celebrated over in the USA, Halloween has become a festivity that is becoming more adopted in the UK year on year.
Whether that be in the form of pumpkin carving, fancy dress or Halloween parties, many people like to celebrate in different ways.
What we enjoy here at Rockdoor is seeing Rockdoor homeowners all over the country show us how they have decorated their homes for Halloween, so we thought we would share some of our favourites with you!
Trick or Treat
We absolutely love this Anthracite grey Vermont that has been fantastically decorated, both on and around the door, completed by Emma @our.wee.project on Instagram.
Emma has pulled out all the stops, right from her impressive collection of pumpkins displayed in a crate by the door to the ghostly milk cartons.
A truly spooky display sure to impress the neighbours!
Scarily stylish
Dressing your composite front door for Halloween doesn’t need to have the scare factor as @Renovation_at_number1 has shown us on Instagram.
They chose to decorate their front entrance using a range of traditional orange pumpkins in front of their stunning Irish oak Vermont Rockdoor, which is then beautifully complemented by the use of autumnal leaves bringing a deeper dimension to their Irish Oak coloured Rockdoor.
A Halloween wreath, complete with pumpkins and skeletons was added to give their front door a welcoming touch to any trick or treaters that might pass. Stunning!
‘Handy’ side frames
Finally, and probably our spookiest Rockdoor is from @renovationatsouthstation. The black Indiana features a round bar handle and two misted glass sidelights which they have used to their full advantage and added a terrifying display of hands.
Adding further to the fear factor, they have also covered the entrance with spiderwebs and some fantastically carved pumpkins.
An entrance way that will undoubtedly send a shiver down anyone’s spine. A huge well done!
